Viva Las Vegas

Tomorrow night is our Vegas-themed school gala.  I'm not one to go whole-hog Vegas chic but I think this will do.  The earrings are only a dream, isn't that why people go to Vegas to dream big and win?

Spring Has Sprung

Well, maybe in some cities but here in San Diego we're awaiting Winter Storm Watch 2012. Translation: it's going to rain Saturday and Sunday. Yes, everyone will melt. But luckily, we'll all look good if we can get these outfits by tomorrow.

Fashion Friday-Das Boot

This, by a long run, is my favorite look. Its not only because the skirt, as you well know I love long skirts and dresses but it's also the boots. There's something so awesome about pairing combat boots with skirts or dresses. Especially an evening dress. I think I may go this route for our school's gala this year.

This is sooo Long...

The other day, one of my students asked why I always wear long skirts (of course, the answer I gave her was "because I like them"). But the real reason... I think long skirts are so much more dramatic and sensual than short. Yes, a short skirt shows off your legs but a long skirt leaves a man guessing what those gams look like. Its especially fun to wear one on a date and go for a walk on the beach. When it comes time to run away from the waves or jump off a low rock, you just pick your skirt up ever so slightly... Yes, I'm in love with long skirts and now you know why.
